Niman Katsu Sand Papercraft

Niman Katsu Sand papercraft from Niku Mansei (Japan), based on Mansei's famous katsu-sand (tonkatsu sandwich).

Tonkatsu is a popular Japanese dish consisting of a breaded deep-fried pork cutlet. Katsu Sand or tonkatsu sandwich puts the tonkatsu in between two pieces of bread. The Niman Katsu Sand is the same sandwich but double the thickness of the tonkatsu.

Osechi Papercraft - New Year 2011

Osechi or Osechi Ryori is a Japanese New Year cuisine filled with traditional/symbolic foods that will give you Good Health, Prosperity, and Luck in the year to come.

McDonald's Papercraft Characters & More

The AttaBoy paper toy from MonkeyInADryer, an easy and simple papercraft resembling a bobble-head doll, and unlike the others that we've featured before, this one actually bobbles ^^

There are lots of papercrafts in their collection but this post focuses on the characters from McDonaldland which is under their "Advertising Characters" section. Clockwise from the top pic, we've got: adminald McDonald (McDonald's main icon and mascot), Officer Big Mac, Mayor McCheese, and Grimace (purple thingy)

Two other sections are available, the :TV & Movie Characters" and "Famous Personalities". Some notable papercrafts in these sections include Star Wars' Boba Fett and Billy Mays (RIP) - considered by many as one of the greatest salesmen out there.

The Hamburg Steak (aka Hamburger Steak, aka Salisbury Steak) is a variation of the hamburger, it is served without the buns, topped with brown gravy, and often comes with veggies - I'm not really a big fan of burgers without buns ^^

Food Reality is a cooking show that features out-of-this world gourmet meals prepared by hostess Thu Tran and an insane bunch of puppets that serve as culinary aides.

This Food Party papercraft set includes Thu Thran, Italian Chef, and Senior Baguette. Food Party premieres on June 09 on the IFC channel.

Yamaha Papercraft - Tastes of Autumn, A Japanese Tableau

An update on the Yamaha Motors (Japan) papercraft site has been posted. This one is called 'Aki no Mikaku' or 'Tastes of Autumn'. This is a typical Japanese tableau of the wonderful foods associated with the autumn season in Japan. The papercrafts include a Pacific saury (sanma) on top of a grill, chestnuts (kuri), Matsutake mushrooms, persimmons, and roasted sweet potatoes (yaki imo).
