Iadmin Man Papercraft

Designer Raphael Gatt just sent an e-mail to inform us of his latest creation, an Iadmin Man papercraft. Let's check it out.

From the Marvel Universe, this fictional comic book superhero has an upcoming live-action film flying through theaters this May. Alongside it is a multi-platform video game tie-in which I hope doesn't suck (cross fingers). If you haven't seen the Iadmin Man trailer, here it is:

Onimusha Papercraft

Capcom's Onimusha video game series is one of the PlayStation 2's popular titles. It's a fantasy type action adventure genre set in medieval Japan. Here's an Onimusha papercraft featuring the games protagonist, Hidemitsu Samanosuke Akechi - e-mailed in by reader tinto.

The pattern is a bit rough and the score/cut lines are not well planned. But still, credit goes to the designer for trying. It's a PDO file so you'll need to download Pepakura viewer for this. Give it a try.

Relax Bear Papercraft

A cute bear paper model from designer クマリラ. It's called the Rilakkuma papercraft and is based on the characters created by the Japanese marketing company San-X. The name Rilakkuma translates to Relax Bear, it comes from the combination of two Japanese words - rila(relax) and kuma(bear). As you can see on the picture above the Relax Bear papercraft is accompanied by two other characters, namely, Korilakkuma (smaller white bear) and Kiiroitori (yellow chick). Those two don't have any patterns available yet, be sure to sign up to our feed to keep you updated.

This Relax Bear papercraft is very popular marketing tool in Japan for all things related to relaxation, it even has a Nintendo DS video game that came out on November 2007 titled "Watashi no Rilakkuma". Here's a video of the DS game and below that is the link to the pattern.

The Simpsons Papercraft - Spider Pig

Oink! oink! oink!. We've just previously featured their site on our Designer Papercraft - Series II, but Jerom's blog has already cranked up a new paper model. This time it's a Simpsons papercraft featuring Homer's Spider Pig. For those that haven't seen the movie, check out this funny clip.

And for those wanting to sing along, here are the lyrics:

Spider Pig, Spider Pig
Does whatever a Spider Pig does
Can he swing
From a web
No he can't
He's a pig
Look Ooouuuttt!
He is a Spider Pig!

Radirgy Video Game Papercraft

Here's the Radirgy video game papercraft from developer MileStone Inc. Radirgy was a popular Japanese arcade video game shooter that was ported to the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo GameCube. It was a vertical scrolling shooter that featured anime inspired graphics. It debuted on the consoles back in 2006 and was planned to be released in the US a year later, unfortunately, lack of interest killed that plan.

The Radirgy video game papercrafts has three paper models, one for each of the consoles that it came out on. Each paper model represents the lead characters on the game.

First we've got the DreamCast papercraft model, Tadayo. Then Ruki as the GameCube papercraft. And finally, Shizuru as the PlayStation 2 papercraft model. To download the models, click on the boxed question mark below the game's cover art.

Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Link Papercraft - Complete

Remember Chokipeta's Four Swords Link? well there's more... Ok, not really Chokipeta, but a creative individual has edited Chokipeta's original pattern and created three more Link papercraft (red, purple, blue) just like in the Hyrulean Adventure video game, now we can truly call it Four Swords. As you can see on the picture, Red Link holds what looks like a Fire Rod, Purple Link is holding a bunch of Rupees, and Blue link is holding a bomb. The original Chokipeta pattern is intact so there's no question on how good it is, there are a few additions to it which comes in the form of new textures and parts and they seem to blend very well, it's a nice complement to the original. You can spot the new parts easily by looking at the outlines, they're the ones with the darker tones.

Notice the seven and fish symbol? it's the same one on the Princess Crown papercraft posted a few weeks ago. I didn't know it back then but apparently the symbol is from the editing designer - he/she goes by the alias ichtus7 and can be found on the Spanish-based site Elotrolado. For my non-Spanish speaking readers a direct download link is available below via Mediafire. Thanks to our reader Manuel for sending in the photos, patterns, and pointing us to the right direction.

Chromehounds Papercraft - Chokipeta

These Chokipeta Chromehounds papercraft might be old but it still kicks ass. It came out a few months after I started this blog back in 2006, I knew about it then but for some reason I forgot do a post on it. It was based on a video game of the same name and for the Xbox 360 console and was first released in Japan on June 2006. These Chromehounds papercrafts include three mechs: Morskoj, Sal Kar, and Tarakia. Each mech represents a fictional nation that make up the Neroimus region (where the game takes place). This is classic ChokipetaKOBO work, clean lines, well planned out pattern, and great instructions. Free download is still available at the official Chromehounds Japan web site.

Gurren Lagann Mecha Papercraft

Anime fans must be having a blast, we've had two great posts within this week that includes the Super Robot/Mecha paper models and yesterdays' Full Metal Alchemist. Today we've got the Gurren Lagann mecha papercraft from a blog called Krauzer's Papercraft Mansion. The complete title is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (天元突破グレンラガン), it's a somewhat new Japanese anime TV series by Gainax and Konami. I haven't seen an episode of this in the US (I'm always late), but from the pics I saw on it's official site and some online videos, it looks promising. You can check out the links below to see some photos from the papercraft designer's blog on how he designed and built the pattern.

Grand Theft Auto Papercraft - Vice City

I can't believe this got lost on my inbox, here's a brand new papercraft tribute from Tubbypaws released a few days ago. This time it's Tommy Vercetti with his Hawaiian shirt, circa 1986. This Grand Theft Auto papercraft has the cute Tubbypaws trademark "all-content-fit-in-one-page" pattern so you don't have to worry about your ink. Follow the links below for the free download.

Full Metal Alchemist Papercraft

Some great looking anime papercrafts from designer Murzkine. This is on my list of all time favorite animes and I've watched every single one of its 51 TV series episode except for the movie sequel Conqueror of Shamballa, but before all that, it was the great manga series created by Hiromu Arakawa. These Full Metal Alchemist papercraft includes the two main characters, brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric. It's a hako-type (box) paper model, the pattern is quite solid and the designs on the face are dead on.

Team Fortress 2 Papercraft

Just received an e-mail about some interesting stuff happening over at our friend Guillermo's place, something about a Team Fortress papercraft. Let's go find out.

From the looks of it they've got three Team Fortress papercrafts available so far, it includes the Heavy, Pyro, and the Spy. You can see from the sample photo above (Spy) on what the finished model would look like. As mentioned on their site, I would like to point out that the low-poly 3D models were created by digital artist Tom Tallian. And a job well done to Guillermo for creating the papercraft patterns.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Papercraft

"Heroes in a half shell, turtle power!" just a quickie post guys, here are some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle papercrafts courtesy of 4Kids TV. Simple and easy papercrafts for kids and beginners, the whole gang is here in hako (box) form - Michaelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael. An added bonus is the Sonic and Knuckles papercraft from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series.

Devil May Cry Papercraft

Sonicscape Jun has just left a message informing us of his latest creations on his new site, let's check it out. Sonicscape calls it the Trooper 3.2 series 1 and currently includes two paper models. This time it's a Devil May Cry papercraft featuring a Nero paper model, just in time for the official release of the game Devil May cry 4 (Jan 31) in Japan and a few days later here in the US (Feb 5). This papercraft even comes with its own Red Queen (sword).

The other interesting paper model on the site is the Black Spidey papercraft. From the feature film Spider-Man 3, Black Spidey came out when that sentient alien, Venom symbiote, attached itself to Spider-Man and bonded with him turning him into a super-villain. When Spider-Man rejected the symbiote it merged with another symbiote (Eddie Brock) turning him into Venom.

Princess Crown Papercraft - Gradiel

Princess Crown is a Japanese Action RPG sidescroller for the Sega Saturn and later on ported to the Sony PSP - I'm guessing the Gradiel papercraft is the protagonist of the game. I've never actually played this so I'll just thank the sender Millitech, thank you, and send you guys on your way to the link. Btw, this free download has a time limit so get it while you can.

Pokemon Dialga Papercraft

"Gotta catch them all" they say, the famous tag line for the Pokemon series. Today we caught a new one, this is the Pokemon Dialga papercraft and it was sent in through email just a few minutes ago. I'm not sure who made it, there's no mark or note on the pattern about the designer except for a date on the photo that came with it - it was dated more than a year ago. If you know the designer or if the designer is reading this, send me your information so I could properly credit you. Brief note about Dialga, it's a dragon/steel type Pokemon, resembles a long-neck dinosaur with metal plating (armor), was featured as the boxart cover for the Nintendo DS game Pokemon Diamond.

Update: we've just now found out the source of this papercraft, I'm not well versed in Japanese so we'll just call the designer Eggman. I've updated the link as well to point to his blog - Egg Feeling? - there's also a Pepakura file (.pdo) that you can download.

Grim Reaper Papercraft - Gregg

From the creator of the Master Chief papercraft here is a character featured in both Conker: Live and Reloaded" and Conker's Bad Fur Day - Gregg the Grim Reaper. This will go along well with the Conker papercraft model that also came out from here just a few months back. You might also want to check out the other new model, not really related to Conker, it's an Invader ZIM papercraft featuring the main character GIR.

Halo Papercraft - D77 Pelican Dropship

We've posted a Halo papercraft before featuring Master Chief, today we're adding a new one featuring Halo's D-77 Pelican Dropship Troop Carrier - it's a versatile craft used by the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) mainly for extraction and transportation of personnel and equipment but can also serve as a gunship. It has a large overhang on its rear that serves as an attachment point for large cargo and ordnance which range from Warthogs, to Scorpion Tanks, or troop-bay extensions. Here's a great free papercraft model from Planet Starfreak (Home of the legendary Grunkohl-Mod), you can also check their other papercrafts such as the Shadowcat V2 from MechWarrior and the Serenity (Firefly vessel). - thanks to Alain for the link.
