Final Fantasy Papercraft - Sleipnir

Odin is one of the many recurring summon creatures in the Final Fantasy video game series. You usually see him riding a horse named Sleipnir, depending on which game your playing, the steed could have between 4 to 6 legs. This Sleipneir papercraft is based on the FFXI game. It's not really an official release from the designer but a fill for a request, so take that in mind if you decide to build it.

BioShock Papercraft - Splicer Mask

This one came in late, would have been good for last weeks scary night. Splicers aka Aggressors, are Bioshock's main enemies throughout most of the game. They wear Masquerade Ball masks to hide their disfigured face. There are many types of masks that can be seen including rabbit, bird, butterfly, cat, and spider - this one has all of those. Thanks to liv for sending this in.

BioShock Papercraft - Big Daddy

Big Daddies aka Protectors aka Mr. Bubbles are the hulking defenders of the Little Sisters. They wear a heavily armored diving suit (similar to Siebe's heavy-footer diving suit) and outfitted with a large drill or rivet gun on one of their hands. The Big Daddies are super stadming and could only be killed after taking huge amounts of damage, they would only attack if you provoke them. There are two types of Big Daddies, the Rosies and the Bouncers. Rosies are the ones with the rivet gun and this Big Daddy papercraft is a bouncer.

Team Fortress 2 Papercraft

Just received an e-mail about some interesting stuff happening over at our friend Guillermo's place, something about a Team Fortress papercraft. Let's go find out.

From the looks of it they've got three Team Fortress papercrafts available so far, it includes the Heavy, Pyro, and the Spy. You can see from the sample photo above (Spy) on what the finished model would look like. As mentioned on their site, I would like to point out that the low-poly 3D models were created by digital artist Tom Tallian. And a job well done to Guillermo for creating the papercraft patterns.

Devil May Cry Papercraft

Sonicscape Jun has just left a message informing us of his latest creations on his new site, let's check it out. Sonicscape calls it the Trooper 3.2 series 1 and currently includes two paper models. This time it's a Devil May Cry papercraft featuring a Nero paper model, just in time for the official release of the game Devil May cry 4 (Jan 31) in Japan and a few days later here in the US (Feb 5). This papercraft even comes with its own Red Queen (sword).

The other interesting paper model on the site is the Black Spidey papercraft. From the feature film Spider-Man 3, Black Spidey came out when that sentient alien, Venom symbiote, attached itself to Spider-Man and bonded with him turning him into a super-villain. When Spider-Man rejected the symbiote it merged with another symbiote (Eddie Brock) turning him into Venom.

Playstation 3 Papercraft

Today Sony fans will definitely have fun with this slick Playstation 3 papercraft from Sonicscape Jun, this post is somewhat related to the Mac post below since we just included his paper iPhone set on it. I believe we posted some of Soniscape's work before, like this other papercraft console, but they've moved out of that home and into a new one, so this would serve as a note to those following his work. Don't worry, it's not all Sony stuff in there, Xbox fans can check out the Halo 3 Legendary Edition papercraft which comes with everything you find on the actual stuff. Have fun!

Paper Airplane Contest - Kotaku

If you're a fan of flight/combat sims then check out Kotaku's contest for next weeks release of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (エースコンバット6 解放への戦火 Ēsu Konbatto Shikkusu Kaihō e no Senka) video game for the Xbox 360. All you have to do is make a "rad" paper airplane and the loot is yours, it includes the game itself, autographed photo (from game's producer and director), faceplates, and a flightstick set. They mentioned cut and glue, so I guess that includes paper crafts/paper models.

Master Chief Papercraft

A few more days to go and one of the most highly anticipated games of the year is about to show itself, yes folks, Halo 3 is just around the corner. What better way to show your love for Halo than to create a Master Chief papercraft, and that's exactly what billybob884 (via deviantART) did. Now you can build your very own Master Chief before the game drops. Also check out the Halo Ringworld and other papercrafts available on his site (e.g. Conker). The pattern is 10 pages and the same goes for the instructions.

Xbox 360 Papercraft + HD-DVD

So, with E3 winding down today, I've ended up with a deluge of downloaded game demos, trailers (in HD), and some themes - I've pretty much downloaded everything in the marketplace that's E3 '07 related, my XB360 is nearing full capacity. I've started to test out some of the demos so I could start deleting them afterwards, one game in particular that I've been playing over and over was Blue Dragon (ブルードラゴン), designed by Final Fantasy creator, Hiadminobu Sakaguchi. After about four hours of repeatedly playing the demo, my XB360 croaked, and gave me the very infamous RROD. Luckily Microsoft recently extended the warranty on it by 3 years, so I'll be missing it for a few days.

In relation to my sad story, here's an Xbox 360 papercraft from Sonicscape / Pimpinthe36o/Paperartgadgets blog, I did the base model only but you can check out their site for more creative designs, also included is the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player. Have fun.
